PC Polycarbonate
PC is an amorphous, technical thermoplastic of high transparency with additional layer of UV absorber (maximum possible transparency (85%) depends on the material thickness). It guarantees a long term protection against UV radiation.
PC finds application in machines and vehicles construction, production of parts for appliances, in transporting engineering, medical technologies, food industry, lightening engineering and building industry.

Durability
PC is very durable material with very good impact strength, creep resistance and dimensional stability. It does not crush and chip off while machining as well as has good resistance to damages (200 better then glass).
Mechanical properties
PC is characterized by a very good mechanical endurance. High resistance to kinetic forces enables thin sections to give the lightness to the plate.
UV radiation resistance
This material has proved highly suitable for applications where there is strong weathering influence and UV radiation. It guarantees good shape stability of PC, making it a perfect material for outdoor and indoor applications. Extruded polycarbonate plates can be used in building of horizontal and vertical constructions in sports halls, industrial buildings and houses. It is used for walls and ceilings of sports halls, magazines, factories, skylights, glazing for doors and windows, baffle boards, market halls, protective glazing, glasshouses, machines guards, apparatuses, door shower, shop windows, isolators, plugs and optic elements.
Working temperature
It withstands temperature from 40°C up to 120°C and its properties stay the same.
Contact with food
PC is admitted to direct contact with food.
Dimensional stability
It is dimensional stable due to its low water absorption and thermal extension coefficient. Elements made from it do not change size and shape.
Colour
PC is available in transparent colours.
